MEDIA ADVISORY IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SEXY RIVER SURFING GIRLS
August 2010. This week vocalist E.P. BERGEN co-founder of BRAN VAN 3000 sings about RIVER SURFING in new solo video "BAR B CITY" to mark its 10th summer on the St-Lawrence river endless wave. Canadian women are practicing this new sport in ever increasing numbers. Newer waves are being discovered in rapids from coast to coast.
With his deep, mellow, baritone voice, E.P BERGEN’s BAR B CITY’S music and lyrics set up a warm mood for fun and relaxed viewing.
The wave foams the St.-Lawrence at Montreal’s historic Habitat 67. “Ten years ago, athletes would ride that wave on kayaks, now it’s surfing and the creative impetus for Bar B City" says BERGEN.
BARBIE CITY is a term E.P. coined for "girl’s night out" in a downtown restaurant or club. His theory is that the Barbie City is a special time usually when the guys are totally involved watching the BIG GAME. The opposite is "Ken City"
With director PIERRE SEAGER, co-editor Steve P. Smith, river surfing pioneer CORRAN ADDISON and bikini clad Christine Pinsonneault, E.P. was able to collect the close up shots needed for the surfing action in his new rock video.
The BAR B CITY music clip is refreshing in HD and action packed for those who actually perform or watch extreme sports. WAKE SURFING is also featured in this clip with a "360" byWAKE SURFchampAUDREY GAUTHIER on her freestyle board. Shots include dangerous CLIFF JUMPING and WAKEBOARD acrobatics by MILE ENDroller club THE ROLLER BOYZ. The dangerous stunts are performed by experienced and fit males and females in swim wear.
The song is NEW GRUNGE recorded in the laid back Mile End with special bass performance by French rocker JEAN LELOUP.
Available on ITUNES but beware… The booty-esque video might get you wet!
